Typhoon Armor G5 Spring Loaded Roll Down Shutters are similar to the Typhoon Armor G6 & G7 but are designed to be installed on lanais. These shutters raise and lower by simply pulling and pushing up on the bottom bar. Just like a window shade. The Typhoon Armor G5 has a span capability of 25 feet but is limited only by the spring balance combinations currently available.

Typhoon Armor G3 Buckle & Strap Removable Shutters are manually deployed and store in the garage when not in use. This system leaves minimal hardware on the wall when not deployed. Usually nothing more than a flat screw cap is visible when not in use and these can be powder coated to match the adjacent wall color.

Typhoon Armor G2 Track Mount Removable Shutters are also manually deployed and store in the garage when not in use. This system can have tracks permanently attached to the wall or the tracks can be removable with minimal hardware on the wall when not deployed. The fabric can be easily slipped into the tracks when it’s time to deploy or the tracks can be rolled up with the fabric and stored in the garage.
